You guys invited me to apply because of my wiring experience and you did not even check my previous positions based on your first reply. I don't know why you needed to message me if you didn't bother to check the application fully. Sent

Serious Monkey2019 12h ago Recruiters are idiots. I had one call me to tell me we they weren't going to move to the next round because I didn't have experience in UV lasers while I had extensive experience with other lasers including making them in the lab but it was a different part of the spectrum. nuts. It's like rejecting a painter who hasn't worked with the color blue even though they've worked red, green, whites. The math and physics is the 492 same. Reply ↑ Share

belkarbitterleaf. 21h ago I bet there is some Al in the middle, and the recruiter thinks they are talking to a recruiter.... That or they have no idea how to do their job.... Probably both. 512 Reply Share BlackPhoenix1981. 19h ago Little from column A, little from column B Reply ↑ Share 131

Jaijoles 20h ago lol. I also had an interview recently where the hiring manager clearly hadn't spoke to the manager that asked me to apply. "So what made you decide to apply for this position" "You folks asked me to".

VulpineSpecter4. 18h ago Omg. I had an interview recently where I literally told the hiring manager before the interview that I received an email inviting me to apply, and she still asked me that question. Reply Deucethedude 14h ago Yes, but you still decided to apply. You chose to do it, so they want to know; beside us asking you to apply, why did you do it? Anyway 150 ↑ Share ...

the_extractor. 16h ago Man, I've had this same thing happen to me in 2022. When I told them they arranged the call and I haven't "applied" that seemed to them off and they cut short the zoom interview! Good riddance because it was a lot of hiring personnel ("CEO", HR guy and chief architect) for just a firm with 10 employees. Not to mention the so called CEO was shirtless on the call!!

I don't want to know how they treat employees if they already talk to me like this.

lunarteamagic 19h ago I had a recruiter reach out to me (despite my account stating I am not looking). When I asked for more details, I was told only that the position of technical writer was to be fully in the office. Which, whatever, but not for me. So I say no thank you. Recruiter has the audacity to ask "why I even wasted his time". Buddy, what?
